Ingredients:

  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 Egg
  • ½ tsp Baking powder
  • 1 tbsp Powdered sugar
  • A pinch of Salt
  • 1 cup Milk
  • Butter

Instructions:

Prepare the Pancake Batter:

  • In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of all-purpose flour, 1 beaten egg, ½ tsp of baking powder, 1 tbsp of powdered sugar, and a pinch of salt.
  • Gradually pour in 1 cup of milk while stirring continuously to ensure a smooth and lump-free batter.

Heat the Pan:

  • Place a pan on the stove and heat it over medium flame.
  • Add a small amount of butter to the pan, allowing it to melt and coat the surface evenly.

Cooking the Pancakes:

  • Once the pan is adequately heated, ladle the pancake batter onto the pan. You can adjust the size based on your preference.
  • Allow the pancake to cook until you see bubbles forming on the surface, and the edges start to firm up.
  • Carefully flip the pancake using a spatula and cook the other side until it achieves a golden brown colour.

Serve Hot:

  • Transfer the cooked pancakes to a plate.
  • Place a small pat of butter on top of each pancake for a delightful touch.
  • Drizzle maple syrup generously over the pancakes to enhance their sweetness and flavour.
