Pancake Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 cup All-purpose flour
- 1 Egg
- ½ tsp Baking powder
- 1 tbsp Powdered sugar
- A pinch of Salt
- 1 cup Milk
- Butter
Instructions:
Prepare the Pancake Batter:
- In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of all-purpose flour, 1 beaten egg, ½ tsp of baking powder, 1 tbsp of powdered sugar, and a pinch of salt.
- Gradually pour in 1 cup of milk while stirring continuously to ensure a smooth and lump-free batter.
Heat the Pan:
- Place a pan on the stove and heat it over medium flame.
- Add a small amount of butter to the pan, allowing it to melt and coat the surface evenly.
Cooking the Pancakes:
- Once the pan is adequately heated, ladle the pancake batter onto the pan. You can adjust the size based on your preference.
- Allow the pancake to cook until you see bubbles forming on the surface, and the edges start to firm up.
- Carefully flip the pancake using a spatula and cook the other side until it achieves a golden brown colour.
Serve Hot:
- Transfer the cooked pancakes to a plate.
- Place a small pat of butter on top of each pancake for a delightful touch.
- Drizzle maple syrup generously over the pancakes to enhance their sweetness and flavour.
